Freeway Commerce, specialists in the provision of electronic data interchange (EDI), e-commerce and enabling integration is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with Provirtus, a leading developer of Microsoft Business Solutions to develop an interface that will allow users of Navision to trade electronically with their customers using Freeway's Spectrum Professional software. The product is due for release 1st September 2004.
Provirtus has developed the EDI interface for Navision using Freeway's 'off the shelf' Spectrum Professional solution that integrates with over 60 accounting software packages such as Sage, Pegasus, Access and Exchequer from IRIS Enterprise Software and requires no re-keying of data. Spectrum Professional and Provirtus' integration objects will enable companies using Navision to trade electronically with their customers in a seamless fashion, regardless of the specific trading requirements that they may have.
"We approached Provirtus about developing an interface that would link our two products after numerous requests from existing Navision users who were interested in using Spectrum Professional. The interface will allow Navision users to have the ability to trade electronically with the confidence that they are using an EDI solution from the market leader, Freeway Commerce," said Paul Kaye, Sales Director, Freeway Commerce.
