Idesta

Idesta (formerly FGS) specialise in the supply of mobile solutions, typically for companies employing mobile workers in the field who need to transfer information back to their office, and to integrate that information with sales and financial systems.

Many of their users operate Van sales, and have a requirement to submit invoices electronically in either TRADACOMS or EDIFACT format using EDI.

Freeway's Spectrum Professional product is the preferred solution for Idesta, and is the one they recommend to their users. Because it operates via simpler .csv interfaces, EDI has become much less of a technical issue for Idesta to resolve.

As Freeway's EDI solutions are also very cost-effective, users of Idesta's products have the benefit of integration for less than many equivalent stand-alone EDI products.
