In a ground-breaking new initiative, House of Fraser has selected Spectrum Enterprise's Online Trader solution to enable suppliers to trade electronically with them for the lowest-possible cost. Suppliers will only need Internet access and a web browser with no other software required. They will receive orders from House of Fraser by email and send back ASN's (Advanced Shipping Notes) and Invoices using specially designed on-line forms.
The system will be housed at a secure site run by Freeway's hosted service partners, Pipex, and will be rolled out to nearly 700 suppliers over the coming weeks in a project jointly carried out by House of Fraser and Freeway.
