It's origins were in the supply of accounting and payroll solutions, but have now grown to encompass a broad range of integrated business applications, including e-business solutions, CRM (customer relationship management) software, human resource management solutions and time recording and billing products.

This partnership was recognised in 2005 when we received the presigious Sage Developer of the Year award. As a registered Sage Developer Freeway now supports over 500 customers integrating EDI, XML, Flat File or Web Form messages with Sage via the Freeway Spectrum Professional product range. The clear advantage is the one-stop-shop, meaning that Freeway need not rely on a 3rd party software provider, and support the whole solution, not just part of it.

Spectrum Professional integrates key messages with Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 200 and Sage 1000, including Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, Acknowledgements, Advanced Shipping Notes, Credits, Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices. There are also now solutions available for users of Sage Enterprise Solutions, including Sage Line 500 and Sage 1000, offering considerable savings over competitive offerings.

Case study

Nottingham-based Leapfrog UK Ltd is a company that acts as a Brand Manager for well-known names supplying toiletries, including Kangol, Miss Selfridge, NBA and Jeff Banks. Their customers include major high street retailers of these products including Boots and Superdrug.

Earlier this year, Boots asked Leapfrog to adopt Electronic Trading with them using EDI, and suggested to them that they contact Freeway as a preferred supplier of EDI software. Leapfrog agreed to purchase Freeway's Spectrum Professional software and ordered a complete package including Invoice Integration with their Sage 50 accounts back office software, EDI Mailbox, training and on-going support.
